The Jenner Inn is the ideal location to savor the bounty of Sonoma and the beauty of the Pacific Ocean, Russian River and the redwoods.
Located on Highway 1, where the Russian River meets the Pacific Ocean, the Jenner Inn offers unparalleled views of the Russian River estuary with eagles, seals, river otters, sea lions, pelicans and other seasonal visitors. The recreational opportunites are superb: kayaking, bicycling, fishing, hiking, abalone diving, mushroom hunting, whale and bird watching. Many take advantage of visits to the nearby wineries, redwoods, Bodega Bay or Fort Ross State Park, while others just prefer the romantic serenity of a visit to the bucolic hamlet of Jenner.
Jenner’s natural beauty, recreational opportunities and abundant wild life are the best parts of being located on the Sonoma Coast. Please note that like most rural coastal towns, cell phone and internet service is spotty. Guests are always welcome to use the office land line during office hours (9 AM to 8 PM). Verizon cell service adjacent to the office is generally available, but not entirely dependable. Only the Pelican and Rosewater units have land lines in the room. A television is available at the bar during restaurant hours (Thursday, noon to 8 p.m., Friday/Saturday, noon to 9 p.m. and Sunday, noon to 8 p.m.) Though we are located next door to the Bay Area, Jenner is truly a rural community and being ‘unhooked” is one of our many benefits! For many, being “unhooked” is another appeal of this romantic, beautiful, nearby location. Take a break from TV stars and watch the ones in the night sky.
